Located on 32 scenic acres overlooking the Perry State Forest, The Craft Farm is a spacious 4000 square foot retreat facility. It’s country life at its finest, a lovely, welcoming place to come to when you'd like to be with friends or just to rejuvenate your spirit. We are close to the quaint and friendly small town of Somerset, home of Zane Trace Inn, with easy access to shopping and interesting sites. We're just an hour east of Columbus and 2 1/2 hours from Cleveland or Cincinnati. So come, relax, and rock a while on our big front porch and let the serenity beckon as you cultivate your creativity.

Our newest craft retreat is open! Our first retreat was Oct 17 - 19 with ladies from the Columbus, Grove City, and Ashville areas. We are located just 8 minutes south of Somerset on SR 669. We have 32 acres, a front porch with cute white rockers, a back deck that overlooks the forest and our pond, walking trails thru the forest, a hot tub, 10 twin beds, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 2 relaxation areas, and a pool table. The website is now operational at www.craftfarm.com. If you would like to reserve space at The Craft Farm, use our registration form on the website or call us at 740-743-9230. We have had a great response and many reservations have already been made. Of course, we would also love to have you stay with us at Zane Trace Inn. Hope to see you soon!
Room to spare
We had your comfort in mind when we renovated this spacious home! There are 3 bedrooms on the main floor and one on the lower level that can accommodate up to 10 people. Two bedrooms have spacious, well-appointed bathrooms en suite and two bedrooms share an extra large bathroom. Every guest has their own twin size bed--no bunk beds and no sharing!
On the main floor, guests are treated to wonderful meals in the gracious
atmosphere of our dining room. The kitchen is very well appointed--but you
won't have to worry about cooking in it because your meals will be prepared
by owner, Christi Eyerman and her staff. No cooking, no dishes, no kids,
no interruptions--pure bliss!
Take a break, if you need to, in our 6-person hot tub. Exercise equipment and a comfortable sitting area await you on the ground floor. You can enjoy watching a movie or talking to friends while you unwind. We also have a wonderful massage chair, perfect for releasing the tension of a long day.
We provide a smoke-free environment for your comfort.
Scrapbooking weekends
The
cropping room is a generous 420 square feet. Ten individual cropping tables
provide plenty of room to spread out and create your works of art. The lighting
was specifically chosen to eliminate shadows! Rock n Roll or croon to the
oldies while you crop as you play your favorites on the state of the art
stereo system. Each table has a trash bag and cup holder and the ergonomic
chairs are very comfortable.
For only $250 per person, your visit with us includes: Friday evening dinner and late evening snack; Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a late evening snack; Sunday brunch; a welcome gift; access to hot tub and exercise equipment; clean, comfortable beds; fluffy towels; access to special scrapbooking equipment such as copier, computer, printer, broadband internet service, and miscellaneous scrapbooking/stamping supplies just in case you forgot something!
